From the village of Jongny, on the heights of Vevey, you have a breathtaking view of Lake Leman and the vineyards of Lavaux; this magical place is only 10 minutes by bus from the Vevey train station, and is also easily accessible by car.
To enjoy this incredible landscape and a quiet weekend, we stayed at the Hôtel du Léman. This establishment is particularly appreciated for the organization of all kinds of events, whether it is a professional seminar, a wedding, a banquet or others. Just ask the hotel team what you would like to do and they will take care of you. (A little advice, it is necessary to take it in advance!)
The establishment has a gourmet restaurant and a bar with direct access to the garden overlooking Lake Leman (Lake Geneva)! It’s a wonderful place, which will allow you to recharge your batteries for a weekend. And of course, if you are from the region, you can always stop by to enjoy it.
From Jongny, you can easily reach Vevey on foot; however, on the way down to Vevey, take the time to get lost in the vineyard paths and especially to admire the panorama! During our stay at the Hôtel du Léman, we took the opportunity to have breakfast on site. Indeed, the establishment proposes a very complete buffet, with everything you need to start the day well.
Our room 116, modern and simple, was perfect for our weekend stay, equipped with a minibar, a shower, a large bed, a desk… In short, all the equipment of a hotel room. Not to mention the view from our balcony, simply amazing! What to really spend a good moment on the spot. The Hôtel du Léman offers its guests a variety of games and facilities to meet all expectations: a fitness room, mountain bikes, a petanque court, a ping-pong table and a giant chess game in the hotel courtyard.
During our visit, we stayed in the main building of the hotel, which has been recently renovated. The establishment has an outbuilding “La Villa Praverdan”, which is a bit higher up, but has not yet benefited from this renovation. So I recommend you to book directly on the official website of the hotel and ask them for a renovated room.
