This new store concept was launched in 2017 by Coop in order to respond to the growing demand for vegetarian and vegan products. For the record, vegetarians don’t consume meat, and vegans don’t consume any animal products at all. There are many different kinds.
One of the main advantages of this new type of store is that you will find many products in bulk – there are no less than forty! This allows you to buy only the quantity you need. A third of our products are certified organic and fair trade. In addition, each week, we feature a recipe from Fooby. You can find the recipe and all the ingredients you need to prepare it in our store.
Our team also prepares healthy snacks that are made fresh on site. We offer breakfast bowls, salad bowls and sandwiches.
As of now, Karma stores are located in only two Swiss German cities. Until we expand, you can find some of the products from this line in various Coop stores.
